Sadly the problem with our telephone line has still not been resolved 😕
If you phone us it will ring your end but it will not ring our end.
It will tell you that this number is not available and then ask you to leave a message.
Do not leave a message, we will not receive it.
After many telephone calls to India and emails too and fro we are no further on. Nine days now my business has not had a phone.

Take my advice and do not ever change from BT to Onecom !!

Unfortunately due to the incompetence of Onecom we have not had a telephone connection in the shop or at home for almost a week now.
We apologise if you have been trying to get hold of us.
Fortunately they have not managed to loose our internet connection….YET.
We are doing our best to get this issue resolved so please bare with us.

Newark Knitting & Wool Show is a festival of woolly crafts taking place at Newark Showground, featuring loads of amazing stalls, plus a great range of workshops. Please come to visit on 5th and 6th September 2026. There's so much to see, do and buy at this wonderful new wool show.

We’ve had a really lovely day in the classroom today. I’ve been teaching the ladies how to make a baskets and bowls from fabric strips and cotton washing line.

Check out this beautiful piece of hand embroidery which has been done by Carol at one of our monthly embroidery courses.
This is the ‘Walled Garden’ Attic Window which was designed by and taught by Karen Binda.
Karen designs the most amazing pieces of work which she then teaches as monthly courses here at Spindle Cottage Workshop.
Well done Carol, it is absolutely beautiful. 😍
