A little something outside of face painting! ✍️❤️
A while ago, I met a gentleman at one of my face painting events. Seeing that I’m Chinese, he asked if I could do Chinese calligraphy.
Well… I do enjoy writing a little Chinese calligraphy from time to time, although I’m definitely not a professional! 😂
It turned out that he was looking for someone to handwrite his family tree in Chinese calligraphy, so that he could have it framed and displayed at home. He was born locally and has Chinese heritage, so I thought this was such a lovely and meaningful idea.
Of course, I was more than happy to give it a go! And luckily, he didn’t mind that my handwriting isn’t that of a professional calligrapher 🙈😂
I’m so happy that he was pleased with the result, and I can’t wait to see how it looks once it’s framed and displayed! ❤️
It’s funny where face painting can take you — you never know who you’re going to meet or what little opportunity might come from it! 😊
