I am often asked if I do sports shirts.

Yes, yes I do, and NEVER using sticky tape or glue.

If a shirt is worth framing, it is most definitely worth preserving properly.

Sometimes the paper is just as interesting as the picture and deserves to be on show. This is where float mounting comes in and the chance to have something just a little bit different. That definitely doesn't mean double-sided tape or glue though!

These are carefully attached to appear 'floating' with fully reversible methods, whilst allowing the paper to expand and contract naturally, so the art can come out the frame in the same condition it went in.

They were crying out for simple backgrounds and just a pop of colour up the sides, with custom-made spacers to keep the glass well away from the paper.

Simple, effective, bespoke.

A very special customer collection today - what a good boy he is! 😊

Pastels can be tricky to frame as they are prone to shedding 'bits'. No problem, we make a hidden 'gutter' so any dust falls behind the mount and not onto the glass.

Do I frame canvas? Can I stretch the canvas? Well of course, in all sizes and styles.

Holiday souvenirs, attic finds, artist exhibitions, old friends or new discoveries. Contemporary tray frames, traditional framing, glazed (or not), slips, fillets, stacked - the choice is yours!

I will guide you through the options so your piece is treated appropriately and preserved for years to come. As a bespoke framer, there is nothing 'standard' in my workshop. If it can be imagined, it can be made.
