Do I frame canvas? Can I stretch the canvas? Well of course, in all sizes and styles.

Holiday souvenirs, attic finds, artist exhibitions, old friends or new discoveries. Contemporary tray frames, traditional framing, glazed (or not), slips, fillets, stacked - the choice is yours!

I will guide you through the options so your piece is treated appropriately and preserved for years to come. As a bespoke framer, there is nothing 'standard' in my workshop. If it can be imagined, it can be made.

Just a little sample below, including a huge piece all the way from Australia, that took up the whole workbench!

Hi folks, I am closed this week in favour of seeking sun and sangria. :-)

Reopening again Friday 10th July.

In the meantime I thought I'd start a little gallery of recent work. People often ask if I frame textiles, and yes, yes I do. I see some amazingly talented people like these wonderous 3D pieces, which deserved completely bespoke box frames. The chosen mouldings were the perfect match but too shallow, so I brushed off some carpentry skills, extended the sides, blended and hand painted for a seamless look, made colour matched spacers and topped with museum glass to show them off at their best.

FATG Level 2 (high protection) and ready to be admired for many years to come.

Almost there!

I have now officially moved into the new place and I had hoped to be fully open today to show off my lovely new display area - but I ran out of hours.

The last month has been a complete whirlwind of full-on DIY, late nights and early mornings getting the new workshop ready, alongside keeping up with the framing and seeing customers. Trust me, it has been a mammoth job!

So I am here as usual and open to collect finished work, but I just need a little extra time to finish off before I am fully open.

Bear with me just a little longer, it will be worth it I promise.

I have some exciting news to share!

My regular customers know that my little workshop can be rather - ahem - snug at times.

Well after a long time searching, I can now officially announce that I am on the move. Today I picked up the keys to my new premises and will be moving lock, stock and barrel to....
....(drumroll please).....
.....next door!

Yep, a whole 20 feet into number 3. 😊

It is a fantastic opportunity to turn a blank canvas into a space that really works for me, and I am itching to get started. Over the next few weeks you will likely see me wielding a paintbrush and various power tools whilst I fit the new place out, all ready for the big reveal.

In the meantime I will continue to be open as usual Fridays 10am-6pm and Saturdays 10am-1pm so do pop in.

I am also open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, but by appointment only please.
