I think what I love most about commissions is the personal touches and for R & J’s wedding stationery, Nelson their lovely little dachshund took a starring role as the motif on their invites and stickers. He even made a very popular appearance at the wedding!

One of my favourite flowers, Dahlias! This was one out of the set of bespoke table place names I did for James and Rhian’s wedding featuring watercolour illustration and modern calligraphy 🌷🌿

Seasonal British flowers were the theme for the tables so the perfect project for me to include each illustration on the table plan ! Beautiful blooms like larkspur and dahlia taking centre stage along with delicate lavender and ferns. Super pleased with the final result 🌿🌷

Hello 👋 and Happy Friday ! this is also my first post of the year 🙈 I might not have been posting but I have been working behind the scenes on an exciting wedding, so look forward to sharing more soon. I also have made a commitment to myself to work on calligraphy more. I am missing being creative and enjoyed taking 2 hours to myself yesterday at an intermediate calligraphy class to refocus and be creative with no specific purpose in mind.

Got to bring back one of the animal gang cards this week as Lily, my little girl turned two 🥲 we had a little party which was so much fun and I got to to indulge in creativity to create a dinosaur themed cake with some help from some other small businesses ☺️
