01 / Older than us

Paul Bert has been standing on his bridge in Auxerre a while. We propped a Shift 2.0 against him and read the plaque. 1833 to 1886. Older than us, but only by 27 years.

First stop on the road to Morzine. London to Morzine is 672 miles, and nobody was doing that in one day, so we needed a halfway point. Auxerre was the place.

Ended up on the bikes hunting for dinner instead, which turned into pizza. Old town, cobbles, the cathedral, a Shift 2.0 and an On&On Adventure parked wherever they’d let us.

Pearson’s older than the internet. Older than the Eiffel Tower. But there's so much history left to learn.

To celebrate the end of the dusty trail season, we will be joining The Cowshed Café on their Gravel Ride-Out on the 12th of September. Starting and finishing at the Cafe, we will take on some of Bedfordshire's best gravel routes. We will be bringing our Gravel demo fleet with us so it's the perfect opportunity to ride some new trails on the bike's that you have been seeing in the cafe for past few months! To round off the ride, there will be a Pecoro Pizza truck selling delicious wood fired pizzas to refuel. Ride Depart: 10:30 Route Length: Around 1hr30
