We spent the day at Donington Park testing out Metzeler's new Sportec 01 RS. It is a seriously impressive tyre, with loads of feel and feedback. You could easily forget you're on a road legal treaded tyre, there's that much grip.

A definite contender, especially if you ride to trackdays.
