It’s remarkable, but Balvenie is the only distillery that still dedicates itself to the Rare Crafts – growing their own barley, malting it, having an onsite coppersmith, maintaining their own cooperage, and benefiting from the longevity of their renowned Malt Master, David C. Stewart. They value age, continuity, and abiding, fruitful friendships.
This release, part of their range called ‘A Collection of Curious Casks,’ celebrates the friendship and experience of Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie and Warehouse and Samples Coordinator George Paterson. Their close working relationship has helped them select ‘rare,’ ‘weird and wonderful outliers’ – whiskies that ‘the world would not usually encounter.’ ‘It celebrates their collaboration and keen instincts for selecting casks with rare potential, showcasing whiskies that are unique and extraordinary.’
The American Bourbon Barrel 14 Years Old is a single-cask Speyside single malt, aged in a unique bourbon barrel.
It has notes of toffee, oak, citrus, honey, candied orange peel, roasted malt, and vanilla.
It comes at a strength of 47.8% ABV and is non-chill filtered.
This is a velvety, rich whisky with a satisfying sweetness.

Those in the know, know that there are the divine Chartreuse Green and Chartreuse Yellow. They know both have an antique and royal pedigree, created by an ancient religious order. They know the Yellow is sweeter and softer than the Green. They know the Yellow graced the tables of European royalty in the 19th century.
The Chartreuse Reine des Liqueurs 2024 Release is a blend of carefully selected, extra-aged Chartreuse Yellow. The name "Reine des Liqueurs" — meaning "queen of liqueurs" — alludes to its royal association and unique limited edition blend.
It is bottled at a strength of 43% ABV.

‘What’s special about small-batch distillation,’ we asked Jamie Morrison, The Glenturret’s Brand Ambassador.
‘Because we’re a nimble small distillery, producing small batches, we can make decisions quite quickly. So, we can change barley varieties, we can change fermentation times and cut points. We can analyse the results to find out what difference it makes, and a larger facility isn’t always able to do that.’
We’re talking here about Scotland’s oldest working distillery – established in 1766.
Glenturret 10 Years Old Peat Smoked - 2024 Release is a Speyside single malt, aged in refill, American and European oak casks. It’s made by one of the renowned Whisky Makers of our time, Bob Dalgarno.
It has notes of dried apple, citrus fruits, peat smoke mingles with vanilla, sweet fruit, darker smoke and sea salt.
Bottled at 48.4%, it is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
This sweet, warm and complex whisky comes in a stunning decanter cast by Lalique, the French luxury glassmaker.

Tomatin does creativity and experimentation, and their sherry collection is a celebration of one the great partnerships between Scotland and Spain, grain and grape, whisky and wine.
People talk of the ageing of whisky in PX casks, but PX sherries, themselves, are aged for several years, often decades, in oak barrels, which adds layers of complexity, richness and depth to the wine.
Tomatin 2006 - 17 Year Old - Pedro Ximenez is a Highland single malt, aged in selected PX casks.
It has aromas of sticky toffee, pudding, expresso, lemon curd, golden syrup, dates, figs, muscovado sugar, rum, raisin and dark chocolate.
It comes at a strength of 46% ABV.

This is a sweet, rich and luxurious whisky.

Allen Katz, one of America’s leading experts on distilled spirits, has an obsession with the unique flavours found in heirloom rye. Heirloom rye refers to older, traditional varieties of rye grain.
Working with Cornell University, Jaywalk Distillery, part of the New York Distilling company, re-discovered Horton Rye – a 17th century variety of rye native to New York – that was brought by the Horton family from England to America. Jaywalk started with just ten seeds – they now have an annual harvest of 200 acres.
Jaywalk Heirloom Rye Whiskey Barrel #1064 - 2023 Release is a single-barrel cask-strength New York rye, made from a mash bill of 75% New York State rye, 13% New York State corn and 12% malted barley. It was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2023.
It has notes of cocoa, nutmeg, allspice, apples, malt and vanilla.
It comes at a kingly cask strength of 58% ABV.
This is a robust, rich, spicy rye whisky.

What you need to know is that whisky enthusiasts think this thrusting distillery is on to something special, and there's a reason for this:
One of the great advantages of producing whisky outside Scotland is that distilleries have the freedom to experiment without the strict guidelines that govern Scotch whisky.
As befits the first distillery built in East London in the last a hundred years, East London Liquor Co. enjoys pushing the boundaries of traditional whisky-making, exploring influences from American and Japanese distilling practices.
East London Liquor Co. Chardonnay Rye Whisky - Cask #57 is an East London single-cask cask strength rye made of a mash bill of 55% Norfolk Rye and 45% Marris Otter barley. It's been aged for 4.5 years inside a single 2nd fill Chardonnay barrel.
It has notes of raspberry ice cream, grass, red apple, birch sap, comice pear, leather, floral fruitiness, peach and caramel.
It comes at a kingly cask strength of 57% ABV and is non-chill filtered.
This is one of just 273 bottles.

Diplomatico is an award-winning distillery who’s introduced major innovations in the rum industry such as small batch discontinuous distillation which creates very rich and complex aromas and the use of smaller barrels during maturation allowing for an intimate connection between wood and spirit.
Diplomatico Mantuano is a premium rum from Venezuela, aged for 8 years in white oak casks that previously held malt whisky and bourbon. It’s a fine balance of 40% heavy pot still rum and 60% light and semi-heavy rum.
It has notes of dark fruit, oak, spiciness and vanilla.
It comes at a strength of 40% ABV.
This is a well-balanced, warm and delicately spiced rum, enjoyable neat and in a cocktail.

The English Sherry Cask Matured is an English single malt, aged in selected sherry casks.
It has notes of dark fruits, almonds, vanilla, fruit cake, digestive biscuits, honey, figs and chocolate.
It comes at a strength of 46% ABV.
This is, without doubt, a lovely, sweet and rich whisky.

This is a whisky that celebrates rot. Sauternes is a celebrated French dessert wine made from grapes infected with ‘noble rot’. Under very unique conditions, fungus punctures the skin of grapes used to make Sauternes, causing water within to evaporate. The grapes develop rich, honeyed flavours with notes of dried fruits, nuts and spices. The hard-to-get casks involved in Sauternes production are highly prized in the whisky world.
GlenAllachie 12 Year Old Sauternes Cask Finish is a Speyside single malt, aged in hogshead casks.
It has notes of honeycomb, butterscotch, toffee, tropical fruits, heather honey, demerara sugar, coconut, marmalade, citrus, caramel crystalised ginger, mocha, peaches and ice cream.
It comes at a good strength of 48% ABV and is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
This limited edition honey-forward release is a sweet, satisfying and luscious whisky.

The oldest distillery in Scotland, The Glenturret, has been making waves, and it’s for a reason: since Master Blender Bob Dalgarno joined The Glenturret, they’ve been rapidly releasing some extraordinary single malt whiskies, many of which have won prizes. Now, they’ve released a captivating gin.
The Aberturret Gin is a London Dry Gin, made with 14 selected botanicals, using the time-honoured distilling techniques perfected by the oldest distillery in Scotland – 269 years old.
It’s been bottled in decanter designed by Lalique, the French luxury glassmaker.
It has notes of lemon, lime, chamomile, pine and pink peppercorn and comes at a strength of 45% ABV.
This captivating gin is rich, complex and well-balanced and is perfect in a Gin & Tonic, a traditional Martini or a classic Negroni.
