May Bells is a fresh and uplifting scent of Lily of the Valley blended with floral rose, geranium and lilac.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lily of the Valley, a woodland garden flower which blooms in May, was sometimes referred to as the 'flower of the fairies' due to the snowy, bell shaped pendants 🧚🏻

In folklore it was said that the soft ringing of the bells would keep evil spirits away, protecting the garden 💚

I’ve just started reading Laura Purcell’s latest book, ‘The Whispering Muse’.

It’s set in Victorian London at a theatre where it’s said the lead actress has made a pact with Melpomene, the tragic muse of Greek mythology, to become the greatest actress to ever grace the stage…it’s a gothic horror and such an atmospheric read!

Happy Weekend Everyone! 🎉

Writing my to do list for the week ahead (I find it helps me to relax)📝 some journaling with my cup of coffee and then I'm off for a long dog walk with little Poppy, and hopefully a lovely countryside pub for lunch!

And the sun is finally shining again, yay ☀️
