Meet the stunning Philodendron melanochrysum 'Bonfire' 🔥
The contrast between its dark velvet leaves and those fiery, vibrant splashes is simply breathtaking. Every new leaf unfolds like a glowing flame, a true holy grail for collector plant lovers!
This gorgeous plant is not for sale just yet, but stay tuned! I’ll be making an official announcement once it’s ready for a new home. 🌿✨

My favourite plant, Yellow Marilyn Monstera. A rare and special variety prized for its stunning foliage with vivid yellow variegation and a commanding presence that grows over time.
This Marilyn actually grew from a tissue culture. Watching it grow all the way from a baby with your own hands is so rewarding!

Tissue culture always looked lovely, but a little out of reach. If you’ve been curious but never quite knew where to start, this one is made for exactly that first step.

Inside you’ll find three tissue culture plants. Two of them are Monstera Thai Constellation and Monstera Burle Marx Flame. The third is a secret, chosen just for this batch, and it’s always something a little rare. The one going out this time won’t come around again🫶

There’s everything you need to begin. Three dome pots to grow them in, a bottle of disinfectant, and a care guide, so you can start the day it arrives🥂

Each Nook is made to order, so I prepare every one by hand.

Order by 8 August for dispatch from 20 August.
Have a peek through the link in my bio🍸

Scindapsus Peasun captivates plant lovers with heart-shaped leaves and soft silver-green marbling. Its delicate metallic shimmer makes this rare trailing vine a truly standout addition.

Today was the day. Both Devil Monsters are out of their TC bags.

They’ve been in there since they arrived, and honestly I’ve been watching the timing carefully. TC plants need to come out before the roots get too crowded in the bag, and these two were ready.

Right now they look small and a bit shocked, which is completely normal. This is day one outside the bag. The next few weeks are the interesting part.

Both of them are staying with me. I’ll be checking in every month to show you what’s happening. If you’re curious about the process, stick around.

Not every Scindapsus that arrived got cut. Some of them I looked at and thought, no, you stay exactly as you are.
The ones I did cut, I cut one leaf at a time. And that's the thing about this plant. Every single leaf comes out different. Same species, same mother plant, and still no two are alike. That's why Scindapsus people can't stop. I'm one of them.
Every month I sit down with a specialist grower in Indonesia I trust and we talk about what to bring in next. All properly documented, all imported the right way. Then the new arrivals and the fresh cuts sit here with me for a while, resting, until they tell me they're ready. Only then do they go up for sale. Sometimes I let one go early, for someone who really can't wait.
I'll keep showing you my collection, a bit at a time. I want you to see what I see in them.

The single biggest reason tissue culture plants die in their first month: people rush the humidity. Here’s the timeline I actually use, start to finish. Save it for your next TC arrival.

Three years, one glass dome, and a lot of rewrites later , the new BOTANISQ is live. I sell rare aroids and tissue culture plants here in the UK, and this rebrand was me trying to make the shop look like how I actually feel about these plants. Verified, acclimatised, grown with care. The art of growing. Link in bio if you want a look.

Look at this! My favorite Philodendron billietiae variegated has grown so much in just one month since coming out of tissue culture. 👏👏👏
There’s something so rewarding about raising a plant from scratch like this. I can’t wait to see how big it gets!

The first three photos are of the plant recently. The photo in the bag shows how it arrived on March 18th, and the last photo is from March 25th, right when I took it out of the bag.
