The Britannic Explorer - London to Wales.
Day 1: In the mid-afternoon, board the Britannic Explorer at London Victoria Station. Unwind in your uniquely designed suite before heading to the observation car for a Welsh Afternoon Tea. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the landscapes, and as the train travels towards Wales, an exquisite meal is served in the restaurant car, followed by drinks and entertainment in the bar.
Day 2: Wake to the picturesque landscapes of the Pembrokeshire coastline. After a relaxed breakfast, disembark at Llandrindod Wells for a guided hike through the serene valleys of the secluded Welsh heartland. Along the way, enjoy a classic British picnic amidst lavender fields. Reboard the train for lunch and travel through the rural uplands of Carmarthenshire and Powys. Later, enjoy another delicious dinner, accompanied by entertainment. The train will pause for the night in the charming harbour town of Porthmadog.
Day 3: After a relaxing morning on board, you’ll arrive in Machynlleth - a creative hub known for its Museum of Modern Art. The train Concierge’s exclusive list of excursions offers a variety of active options, paired with a glass or two of natural Welsh w**e. Rejoin the train for lunch, then disembark again for a private gathering at a classic Cotswolds pub, where you can indulge in homemade English dishes and learn how to pour the perfect pint.
Day 4: Enjoy another delicious breakfast as the train heads back to London. After a scenic ride through the beautiful landscapes of Oxfordshire and the Chilterns, you'll arrive at Victoria Station early in the morning.
