Rare records & the Vertigo record label go together like thunder & lightning. And, like a tropical storm, there is something very special & powerful about coming across clean U.K. pressed Vertigo’s in today’s record collecting world. They’re highly sought after & hugely prized by collectors the world over.
I bought this record some years ago from a collector in Surrey. This chap had dedicated a large part of his time & energy to collecting first pressed albums from the Progressive Rock genre of the early 70’s. A very impressive collection it was too. This was part of it.
As you can see the cover is solid, it’s sharp & strong all round. The disc & label both are very clean. Thankfully the vulnerable matt cardboard cover, which U.K. Vertigo’s are famed for, usually dysfunctional in some way, has stood the test of time well. Needless to say, it’s a special one for me & one I’m also grateful to have in my collection.
