Artania, Beykush’s wine bar in Podil, one of Kyiv’s most beloved spots had its windows blown out, glass counters shattered, and irreplaceable vintage bottles destroyed.😤

This week, Honey Badger nalyvka lost nearly their entire current supply.💥

We know how much you love these wines and nalyvkas. And right now, the most powerful thing you can do is simply buy a bottle.🥂🫂

This is Artania wine bar in the heart of Kyiv’s Podil district, known for championing Ukrainian wines exclusively. ❤️‍🩹

On May 24th 2026, a drone and missile attack left like this... Shattered glass where wine glasses once stood. Broken windows taped together with whatever was to hand.

A piece of the destroyed drone found right on their doorstep.

And one week later, on Kyiv’s 1,544th birthday, Artania doors are open . Wines poured. Glasses raised. Because that is what Ukraine does.💪♾️

I’m sorry if this doesn’t fit into your perfect Sunday. BUT We have, or should I say Must, share stories like this one. Not because they are easy to look at, but because this is the everyday reality of Ukrainian life and Ukrainian wine cultur right now.

These are real people, real places, real resilience.
