Your Mac has a hidden AI chip. Almost no one uses it properly.
It’s called the Neural Engine, and it’s been sitting in every Apple Silicon Mac since 2020 — quietly running Face ID, Siri and photo processing on barely any power.
Then an independent developer got past Apple’s software and measured what it can actually do. We took that work and ran it across every chip we sell, M1 through M5.
A few things we found:
→ Per watt, it does ~80× the AI work of an Nvidia A100 — the GPU behind much of the world’s AI
→ It trained an AI model from scratch on 2.8W. Less than a small LED bulb
→ Apple’s own software was adding up to 4× overhead on the tasks where speed matters
The hardware’s been ready for years.
And you don’t need a new Mac to own it — every refurbished machine we sell has one.
