Re:claimed, formerly The Reclaimed Flooring Company, has been crafting bespoke, tactile, and planet-friendly wood flooring and joinery since 2003, defined by quiet luxury and delivered worldwide. We source antique, reclaimed, and harvested European oak-each board carrying its own story of patina, provenance, and natural beauty-and reimagine it for contemporary interiors. This is slow design, born

of patience, respect for nature, and a deep belief that timelessness cannot be rushed. Every plank tells a story: of weathered beams, historic structures, and trees that once stood for centuries. In our Cheshire workshop, these stories are honoured and preserved by skilled hands, combining age-old floor-making traditions with modern precision. Beyond floors, we create bespoke joinery: staircases, doors, kitchen worktops, cladding, and one-of-a-kind commissions. Everything we do is bespoke, to any degree: colour, character, texture, or finish. Each piece is crafted as if it were the only one of its kind-because it is. Pondering the nature of design, we might feel guided towards the gleaming visuals — the forms, the colours, the visual composition.

However, there’s more beyond the surface. How does the grain of wood feel against our fingertips? Can the scent of the wallpaper remind us of childhood afternoons? How does sound travel across tapestry-filled walls?

Engineered, by design — not compromise.

A significant share of what we create lives on engineered platforms. For underfloor heating, for kitchens and bathrooms, or simply for peace of mind, it offers quiet stability beneath everyday life.

But choice matters.

That’s why most of our reclaimed collections are available as engineered, preserving their character while adapting to modern conditions. And for those drawn to something even older — our antique boards, some nearing 300 years — can also be installed as solid. Time has already done its work, the pores settled, the timber at ease.

Different paths, same intention: wood that feels right, and lives well.
