Painted Memories began with a box of Christmas cards I’ve been holding onto for more than twenty years. They were painted by my late father, Michael Stringer – a gifted artist and art director who, in his early career, worked with Disney on projects such as Fantasia and later as art director on films including Fiddler on the Roof.
For me, these seven festive designs are far more than cards – they’re part of his legacy. This year, I felt it was finally time to bring them to life. Through Painted Memories, I hope to share a little piece of him with others, so his creativity and love of storytelling can continue to spark joy, just as it always has for me.
