Could the search for a simple way to make legs for a teddy bear have led to a sculptural icon of Scandinavian design?
Knot cushion and pouf by Design House Stockholm - a sculptural knitted design by Ragnheiður Ösp Sigurðardóttir.
Designer Ragnheiður Ösp Sigurðardóttir was looking for a way to machine-produce legs for soft toys. She began experimenting with long knitted tubes. Memories of crafts learned at school in Iceland and knot-tying skills picked up as a scout inspired a gesture that completely changed the purpose of the material. She tied several metres of knitted tubing into a dense, springy knot, combining a touch of pop art with a sense of comfort and closeness.
And that’s how the Knot cushion and pouf were born.
Knot cushions bring a three-dimensional structure to the sofa, softly supporting your back while you read. They’re not like other cushions covered in patterns. They are the pattern.
The Knot XL pouf changes the whole dynamic of a living room. It brings relaxation closer to the floor, creating a natural space for playing with little ones, morning yoga or simply slowing down.
And when it’s not being used as a seat, it becomes a tactile, free-standing sculpture - one that, unlike the pieces in a gallery, actually invites you to touch it.
Who could use a little knot like this in their living room?

A question worthy of top marks: what exactly is the object in the photo?
A sculpture? A piece of jewellery? Or perhaps the creation of a Parisian pâtissier?
Meet La Boule Iconic Kyoto by Villeroy & Boch.
At first glance, it looks like an art object - a decorative sphere adorned with a crane motif, a symbol of happiness, harmony and longevity. Look a little closer, though, and you’ll discover a complete 7-piece tableware set for two, crafted from premium porcelain, hidden inside. 🏮
These are exactly the kind of designs we love most.
First, they surprise you with their form. Then, they impress you with their function. And finally, they make your guests smile and ask: “Wait… how do you actually open this?”

Can kitchen containers become icons of postmodern design? 🥫
HAY’s Tin Containers, designed by George Sowden, prove they absolutely can. Geometric patterns, bold colours and a sleek metal form echo the unmistakable aesthetic of the legendary Memphis Group, which Sowden co-founded.
Perfect for coffee, tea and all those everyday kitchen essentials we usually keep tucked away in cupboards. Although these containers are far too good-looking to hide.
Would you keep them on your countertop or display them on an open shelf?

Kelly Wearstler x FormAdore. When design takes on a personality. ✨
Hotels, residences, restaurants, bars - and now… your home. American designer Kelly Wearstler has spent years creating interiors with a personality all their own: bold, sensual and full of unexpected combinations.
Her name regularly appears on the most influential lists in the design world, while six bestselling books prove that Wearstler knows how to tell the story of design in more ways than one.
Now you can experience her distinctive design language up close. Her collaboration with Serax has resulted in two ceramic collections - Zuma and Dune - where sculptural forms meet the beauty of craftsmanship.
Two collections. One unmistakable personality. Kelly Wearstler. 🖤
Which speaks to you more: the marble and wood-inspired look of Dune or the painterly stripes of Zuma?

Metro lamps by Valerie Objects- (not only) for Milan lovers 🤌
These lamps were inspired by one of the most distinctive details of the Milan metro: its handrails. The designers at Piovenefabi transformed this everyday element into a sculptural form that, instead of taking you to the next station, leads you straight to great design.
And we probably don’t need to say it – lighting like this can easily become the star of any interior.
Metro is one of the designs by Valerie Objects, our new brand founded by Axel Van Den Bossche, founder of Serax, and Veerle Wenes, owner of the acclaimed Valerie Traan gallery. From the very beginning, the brand has blurred the lines between art, design and everyday objects.
Now for the most important decision: verde or rosso? 🟢🔴

Restore storage baskets- because staying organized can look good, too.
Muuto’s Restore collection brings Scandinavian simplicity to everyday organization. Designed by Mika Tolvanen, the rectangular and round baskets are made from a felt-like material created entirely from recycled plastic bottles. Their soft texture and muted colors add warmth to any space, while the sturdy construction makes them perfect for storing everything from small essentials and documents to hats and toys.
Because organization can be part of great design, too.

We love designs and brands that make everyday life at home feel a little more exciting. More emotion, small moments of delight, and objects that can turn even the simplest routines into something special.
Meet knIndustrie- an Italian brand that loves taking familiar, everyday objects and reimagining them in fresh, unexpected ways.
The Glass Pot, the square Groove glass, the transparent Rubin serving stand or the Shapeless bread bin are all pieces that are hard to ignore. Functional, surprising, and more than ready to take centre stage on the table or kitchen counter.
Because good design doesn’t need to shout. Sometimes, it simply makes everyday life a little more interesting. ✨
