Thursday 15th October.

We are delighted to announce former core member of Dexys Midnight Runners, Helen O’Hara, will be in our shop for a Q&A about her life, Too Rye Ay, Don’t Stand Me Down and the band. Her autobiography will be available in paperback form on the night and ticket price can be discounted against book cost. We will additionally be playing Too Rye Ay As It Should Have Sounded prior to the Q&A.

Licensed bar offered.

A must for fans of great 80s music and Dexys.

We are immensely proud to announce that Helen O'Hara, a key member of Dexys Midnight Runners, will be in our shop next month to talk about her career and the paperback launch of her memoirs. We will additionally be playing back Too-Rye-Ay As It Should Have Sounded, the band's original vision of the hit album.

Just a few hundred yards from us today. Pengefest, a charity event on the High Street for St Christopher’s Hospice and the Nepal appeal. Beer stalls, oompah band, stiltwalker, stalls, food and general vaguely Alpine shenanigans. 100% wonderful and 100% fun. Oh and there’s a great record shop nearby…
