Prepping for the Free Taster Workshop tomorrow at my open studios Good Shepherd Studios

Remnant pieces of my screen printed linen will provide the ground for your botanical design which you will screen print yourself.

Nature and bold colour and pattern interact in your very own mini artwork which you can stitch or frame and take home with you.

I’ll be in my studio between 12 and 4 tomorrow and the workshop will be in the Auditorium between 13.00 and 14.00

Because September is MAD BUSY!

This is what Im up to next weekend.

I will be taking over local vintage shop slope. where you will be able to see wallhangings, cushions, lampshades, and so much more amongst the beautifully curated furniture, artwork and vintage goodness.

I’ll be in the shop all weekend so come and say hi!

With the weather getting a bit more Autumnal I am turning on my side lamps earlier every evening.

Looks like my customers are thinking of their lighting too as I’ve sold a couple of these oversized Lightning bolt lampshades this week. Hand screen printed onto vintage linen they have a cosy glow when lit up and bring dynamic pattern to any space!

Join us at our open studios this weekend! There will be a mix of artists, musician’s, and designers and tours of our fascinating building where you can learn all about its history and evolution into a studio and community hub.

I’ll be there on Saturday with my doors open and selling some seconds and samples and will be running a taster workshop in the Annex between 13-14.00

All set up at the beautiful Daisy Macleod in Bristol.

My wallhangings will be on display and available to buy for two months in store.

We launched with a wonderful evening of textiles, mid century furniture, meeting new faces, seeing friends, and meeting customers who have become friends over the years in the flesh!

Thanks to Daisy and Wross for having me and do pop over to their wonderful shop on the Gloucester Road and see the wallhangings up close.

I’m really excited to be exhibiting some brand new Wallhangings Daisy Macleod in Bristol this September through till November.

Daisy’s beautiful shop imports mid century Scandinavian furniture which is then restored in Bristol and given a new lease of life.

We first met many years ago when Daisy lived in London and we used to print and work together. I can’t wait to put the wallhangings up in her gorgeous shop!

Fantastic group at today’s “Botanical Screen Printing workshop”

Lots of creative ideas of overlaying and exploring cut shapes printed over botanical reliefs. Despite the drought in London we found plenty to print with and had loads of fun.
