This one is fun!

So my Aunt works for the UNFPA in Laos- very specifically with women in rural areas. I love all the things she does!! ♥️ It's rough out there.
And I love projects like this! This one is a social enterprise which supports women with various disabilities to make a living. In this case they collect plastic waste- mostly straws and plastic cups (it is a huge problem in Laos and if you have ever been to Laos or Thailand you will know this)--- and they turn them into jewellery and bags and other nice things.
☘️Silk is also a big traditional industry there, and the two are combined.
I have some pieces of the creations to sell- the money goes towards this wonderful project and I'm hoping to somehow be more involved and visit as many of these type of things over the coming winter.
