Last month we had the joy of supporting Civic Awards Ceremony, celebrating local community hero’s across the borough.

AJS was bought in to supply a full lighting & rigging package to transform the venue. On the day our incredible team had just six hours to put up over 40 fixtures, 4 truss towers, 4 booms, run power & data, rig 1 followspot, built an entrance portal and programmed the whole show across 2 different stages, adding an extra challenge.

The evening took place across 2 stages with bands, dance groups & musical theatre performances between awards being handed out. We also deployed our Clear-com wireless system to allow all the technical team to communicate seamlessly throughout the event.

At the end of the night we stripped the venue out and had the van loaded in just 2 hours, all thanks to our amazing team of freelancers. It’s safe to say the client was thrilled with the AJS experience.

AJS Event Productions continues with its round of investment by adding an extra 4 Mac Viper Performances to our already extensive hire stock.

The extremely popular Viper Performance has:

AJS Productions was delighted supply Anne Of Green Gables at the Lilian Baylis with a lighting & control package for lighting designer

We also supplied 2 Production Electricians & 2 LX Crew for the show who took the design and made it a reality.

The Outcast 2X Wash is a lightweight and rugged IP65 rated fixture making it versatile for every application. It boasts 19 25w quad colour LEDs across 5 pixel mapable zones & a wide 8°-66° zoom.

AJS Productions are always here for you, even at the 11th hour.

We recently got an urgent call from The Other Palace theatre that their in house Cue Light System had broken just as was due to start tech rehearsals.

Within an hour we had delivered a fresh cue light system to support the show. Now in use every night to ensure technical departments & performers get their cues on time!

Unfortunate the Musical runs at The other Palace through to the 5th April 2026.

We were proud to support the new musical NEZHA in its Worls Premiere in the Shaw Theatre earlier this year. Working closely with Lighting Designer we supplied a Lighting, Rigging & power package for the production.

We also supplied an LX Crew led by Production Electrician Adam Scott, who figure out the power & data logistics of the production and load it into the theatre. The team also did a small set electrics install.

On the production we had:

2026 is off to a crazy start at the AJS HQ, our team have been busy delivering a diverse range of jobs for our lovely clients.

So far we’ve:

Harrow Christmas light switch on 🎄

Ou team was recently in Harrow for their annual Christmas switch on, we had great fun putting together a creative design to make the day magical.

In 3 hours our team rigged 37 lighting fixtures & ran over a quarter of a mile of cable and had everything working reading for the event to open.

A big thank you to all our freelancers who made this happen, they put in an incredible shift and it looked stunning!

We had the joy to recently install the set electrics for at the Marylebone Theatre, this stunning production used 50 meters of CCT Cob led tape allowing the designer to mix between cold & warm whites.

Our team worked at the Bower Wood workshop to install the electrics before it went out, we put strips in all the bookshelves to light it from the front & the back. We also had tape in the skirting to up & downlight the brick wall behind the set. This install required us to make over 200 individual solder joints! We are proud to be a small part of delivering such a beautiful show.
