I've been asked a lot about how I get the sketch of the bear;
• Take photos of all items of clothing
• Upload them to procreate*
• Sketch the seams/ outline of the bear
• Fill in each section by layering

* procreate is a drawing app that I had to pay for, there might be free alternatives.

I draw out my bears so I can clearly see what fabrics/ colours/ patterns work nicely together. Anything that is unused, is returned.

Things I forgot to mention;
• I double stitch ever seam to make the seams stronger
• I snip all curves to make curved seams lay flat
• Press all seams open!

I'm really happy with this bear and i cannot wait to show you the final photos!! Xx

These 2 School Uniform Leaver's Bears arrived home this week ♡

Made from a summer dress, polo shirt, skirt and 2 cardigans. I also used the lace from the dress around the ears and the little bows off of the headbands!

It was so lovely getting this order as it was the school uniform from my primary school - just different colours and logo! Xx

This 12" memory bear went home this morning, and it was a special one to create ♡

Made from two dresses; I also downsized a loved one’s flat cap to fit the bear’s head and included a heart pocket, to hold a an urn.
