Figures suggest, International students bring in £312 million to the Scottish Economy, each year!

Last year 34,670 students from outside the EU went to study in Scotland, however the British immigration system is making it hard for international students to secure jobs in the UK after their studies.

Lindsay Patterson, a specialist in higher education talks about the positive impact international students have being in Britain and that more needs to be done to improve the immigration system. http://ow.ly/NxZSq

The student kept a note of the best quotes said by him for a whole year and then presented it to them. At which the teacher then posted to show that teachers can be cool!

John Latham, vice-chancellor of Coventry University, says “We’re a modern university, but not just in the sense that we haven’t been around for as long - we’re very modern in our approach. We’re challenging the system. We’re bringing in new forms of pedagogy and listening to students.”

Ian Dunn, deputy vice-chancellor for student experience at Coventry says the university has three objectives: “teaching students well, making sure that students are listened to, and making sure they get good jobs at the end of their course,”

Coventry university’s success is down to its focus on students’ needs and you too can be a student their!

International Students are said to contribute £2.8 Billion a year to the London Economy and support 70,000 jobs, just in the capital of the UK!
