We absolutely love this incredible piece, Serenity, created by one of our customers, Stephen Harris, using our New Zealand driftwood.

Swipe to see the process behind this beautiful creation 🙌

Stephen carefully takes each piece of driftwood back to its best using a variety of tools, before using epoxy and plaster of Paris moulds around the wood to create these amazing sculptural pieces. The transformation is truly fascinating and such a wonderful example of the creativity driftwood can inspire.

A beautiful moon vase has been paired with one of our driftwood pieces, featuring Solomon’s seal and hydrangea, inspired by the Japanese art of Ikebana. 🌾

Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging, dating back centuries, where every stem and placement is carefully considered to create balance and harmony.

It’s such a calming, natural way to display flowers, and we think our driftwood is the perfect match. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful creation with us! 🤍

Our customer Shane has created this incredible handmade mirror using our driftwood, and we absolutely love how it’s turned out.

It just goes to show that driftwood isn’t just for decorative displays, it can be transformed into beautiful, one of a kind pieces that bring a real coastal feel to any space.

Shaped by time and environmental forces, the driftwood symbolises movement, survival, and memory, exploring the fragile relationship between nature and humanity.

Remnants
Pyrography on Driftwood | 55 × 85 × 15 cm

The natural grain of the wood remains visible beneath the markings, suggesting that nature continues to endure despite damage and human intervention.
