A day of restocking!! All of our deliveries get dropped off to Mablethorpe Ice Cream Company and we have to trolley them down a bit at a time, so it’s been a busy morning! Whatever we run out of time doing today, Alex and sharnie are going to finish off tonight ❤️

A little family history 💫

Because sweets have such a nostalgic factor, I asked my grandma and grandad their memories… my grandma (Margaret Bell, was West) grew up in Saltfleet, a nearby village. Her family had the West Army Stores village shop and her favourite sweets as a child used to be horlicks tablets in a tin!

The family have found some photos of the shop and there’s one of the inside with the jars of sweets in the background! 💕✨🍬

My grandad grew up in Mablethorpe so I will do his memories in another post! What’s your oldest memories of sweets?

It’s been a nice change to be in here for the whole day, I usually just pop in and out but we were a little short today so I decided to do it so Alex and sharnie could have a day off together ✨
