Back at one of our faves on Saturday, it’s just down the road from me in the gorgeous north shropshire town of Wem! I’ve been cleaning tools, making repairs and stocking up on general garden related goodies!
🚨🌸☀️🌿🚨Only two days to go...Top Tips for enjoying Saturday's Millennium Green Wem Plant and Craft Fair:
- 🛍️Bring something to carry your new plants or products in (bags for life, crates or cardboard veg boxes are great!)
- ⏰Arrive early to get the plants you are looking for: we open for trading at 9am.
- 🚘Parking: the best option is to park on the town car park near the Co-Op for a small charge. It is a short walk to the Green via the high street.
- 🪙Payments: many stall holders take card payments or cash...some only take cash, so please bring along both!
- 🏆 Raffle: £1 a ticket.. Amazing prizes (like, seriously amazing prizes!)
- 🏷️Stalls galore: we have a record amount of stalls this year which is incredible! Please take time to venture beyond the chapel area onto the far lawn where many more stalls will be situated.
- ☕Refreshments: we have several stalls selling tasty local food and drink and our friends at the Methodist Church opposite will be open for their famous bacon baps and tea/coffee.
- 🚻Toilets - available on the town car park (small fee) or at the Methodist Church opposite.
- ♿ Accessibility: we have a lovely flat path around the chapel. Some stalls will be on the grassy areas, so please be mindful!
We also welcome any volunteers. If you come along and enjoy the space, please ask one of the team for information about volunteering 😃
