Something new and very different for Magpie Makes! A kit bag embroidered with Kilmallie Shinty logo on the side, and names on the side of the bag too. Very practical (these bags are really big!) and a great gift in this case!

Baseball caps!! FINALLY!!
You may remember I posted a few weeks back about an exciting new introduction to Magpie Makes. Well now that things have calmed down (a little!) I’ve finally mastered baseball caps! Woop! How exciting. I’ve had sooooo many people asking about these and I’m finally able to offer them. 🥰

I do like to do a fishing boat - even in the throes of absolute chaos with boxes everywhere and embroidery threads coming out of every or***ce! 🙈 These do take time to get right but always worth it to see the finished product and lovely feedback from customers. This one was sent out to a young lad in Benbecula!

Very much appreciate all the shares and recommendations from you all, it shows that word spreads to the smallest places too!

Ok Gaelic folks, beanies were popular at last year’s Mòd with Amadan, Gaol, Cailleach, Balach beag, Nighean Bheag etc but I need some fresh ideas for this year and my brain isn’t fully functioning.

Hit me with your ideas/ phrases/ words! What would you want to see on a beanie/ baseball cap?! (Yes, I’ll be introducing baseball caps this year! Exciting!)

Feel free to throw any other ideas at me while you’re there….

🎄 FYI there will be a new Christmas jumper design coming too. Working on it! 🤶

Love these Joma sporty tops that people have ordered for school uniforms this year. These are perfect for those sporty kids who are reluctant to wear a school uniform! Stretchy, sporty fabric but fleecy inside.
The delivery on these to me is slow but these can be ordered in children’s and adult sizes for school uniforms (arriving AFTER term starts) or for business workwear. (While stocks last at the discounted price).

How friggin awesome do these T-shirts look after Cassie finally managed to herd them all together for a photo at Belladrum! Each one was personalised with an adjective cut out that described the individual and they all had the Soundbites logo on the back too.

Wishing all the students who get their exam results today in Scotland the best of luck! 🤞🏻

Remember that these results don’t define you. I worked incredibly hard to get my grades to become a Gaelic primary teacher and here I am now running my own business which I have taught myself to do COMPLETELY from scratch!

Grades are important for many careers of course, but they aren’t for all! A bright future awaits each and every one of you regardless of today’s outcome.
