I've been seeing a lot of conversations around AI recently and it's raised some questions for me about where we draw the line with AI in our content.

I know it's personal preference whether you trust the source using it, that it truthfully represents the content you see. But can it be used reasonably and still portray an accurate representation?

I've conducted a quick experiment with some of my own photos. The first one you see in this carousel is an AI adaptation of an image I took myself, where I asked it to change the background to something warm and seasonal and to not touch the bookmarks themselves. You can see exactly what I asked it to do.

Now, I'm not an AI expert and I probably could have worded it a whole lot better than that, but it got to the gist of what I wanted and was clear in what I didn't want it to do. And I don't feel that it did change the focus of the image.

The second image is of the same items, but styled as close to the AI image as i could get with things around my house. It is however, edited as much as my skills allow to make it more vibrant. Does this do the product sufficient justice, without being misleading?

Finally, the last image is my original photo, brightened as the room was dark. It's taken on my bed late at night because Ellie most crafter's/creators, im doing this late at night, after work.

In essence, this is my very long winded way of asking, what do you think is acceptable for creators to use in trying to best protest their work?
And would it put you off to see some small AI enhancements?

There’s something about reading in winter that just feels different.

The blankets come out, the candles get lit, the evenings get slower… and suddenly staying in with a good book sounds like the best plan ever.

So I made a couple of little winter scenes to join those cosy reading evenings.

Handmade from polymer clay and finished with a soft navy ribbon, these are designed to be tucked into the pages of your current read and bring a tiny bit of winter magic with you wherever you read.

Now the important question… snowy mountains or moonlit forest?
