There’s something about reading in winter that just feels different.

The blankets come out, the candles get lit, the evenings get slower… and suddenly staying in with a good book sounds like the best plan ever.

So I made a couple of little winter scenes to join those cosy reading evenings.

Handmade from polymer clay and finished with a soft navy ribbon, these are designed to be tucked into the pages of your current read and bring a tiny bit of winter magic with you wherever you read.

Now the important question… snowy mountains or moonlit forest?

The latest order to leave and I'm in love with this combination of summery lemons and the different blues and silver tones. There has been so much love for the lemons, and I know this is a gift for someone so I hope they love it as much as we do!

This was also the last dish of the collection so a bittersweet moment. Now I need to decide if I restock the collection or go with a different design, thoughts?

How many books do you have on the go at once? 📚

I’m usually a three or four at a time kind of reader 😂 One by the sofa, one on the bedside table, one I’ve convinced myself I’m definitely going to finish soon… and probably another hiding in my bag or on my tablet.

There’s just something about getting cosy on the sofa, blanket tucked around you, a warm drink beside you and settling into a good book while it’s cold outside. ❄️☕📖

That cosy winter feeling was the inspiration behind my newest bookmark — snowy trees, winter skies and all those little moments that make you want to slow down and stay in with a good book. I think the heat has gone to my head!

Now I need to know… how many books are currently on your TBR/on-the-go pile? 👀

Lately, I've been thinking about how easy it is to rush from one thing to the next, always chasing the next task, the next goal, the next chapter.
But the mountains have never hurried, and neither does nature. They remind us that there's beauty in taking things one step at a time.

This bookmark was inspired by misty mountain mornings, the first coffee of the day, crisp air through an open window, and those quiet moments when the world hasn't quite woken up yet.
The kind of moments that remind you to slow down, look after yourself, and notice the little things—the changing colours of the seasons, the sound of rain, a favourite book, and a few minutes that belong only to you.

Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is simply pause.

I hope this little piece carries that reminder every time you open your book. 🤍🏔️

The inspiration behind the Mediterranean vibes in this lemon bookmark. I spent a week road tripping round the Italian coast and Puglia region last year.

There are some designs that instantly make me think of sunshine, little cafés and wandering down flower-filled streets somewhere on the Italian coast. 🍋💙
This little bookmark was inspired by exactly that feeling. Handcrafted with tiny Mediterranean lemons, white blossoms and soft blue details, it's a slice of summer for your book or sketchbook.
