Knotted with love. Made with pride!

One of my favourite pieces to create, this macrame rainbow is a reminder that the world is brighter when everyone is free to be themselves.

Happy Pride Month to all ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💜

Between a chest/throat infection, solo travel to Santorini, my best friend’s wedding and a big birthday… I’ve been a bit busy lately!

I spent last night catching up on some emails and organising my diary so there are some fun events lined up throughout the year. But can you believe we’re halfway through 2026 already? When did that happen?

Now that I’m back I’m hoping to be a bit more organised and present. I have lots to share with you after all!

I’ve struggled to post and be present online lately and that’s not because I haven’t been working. There’s lots of things happening that I can’t wait to share with you. The best thing being on the 12th July so keep your diaries open.

A few weeks ago our Poppy decided the stuffing from her bed was tasty and ended up needing surgery to remove it from her gut. Being a lurcher, her body shape made the surgery a little tricky so this and her previous complicated history of gastric issues meant that her recovery was not as smooth as we hoped. She had pancreatitis, free fluid in her abdomen, and only a small selection of foods we could use to tempt her to start eating again.

She is on the mend now and getting back to her usual self but she’s taken up a lot of our time and energy, not to mention money. She is insured but she was in ICU for nearly a week so her vet bills surpassed the insurance limit pretty quickly. She’s worth every penny though and we’re so grateful to everyone who took care of her.

Now that’s she’s getting better, I can start to focus on F&D again. So stay tuned for updates and let me know what you’d like to hear from me!

Thank you for your patience 💕🐶

A few years ago I would have said you could find me on Etsy, or just say hi in my DMs. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still there. You’re always welcome to message me!
But… over the past year I’ve been trying to have more confidence in myself and my work. I’m putting myself out there more and trying to reach out to at least one collaboration each month. Either to work with them, create something for them, or attend one of their markets. It’s scary but I’m growing, and I’m excited to see where it takes me.
If you’d like to work with me please reach out. I’d love to collab!!

I am obsessed with how this set up turned out last weekend. The sun poured in through stained glass windows and the disco ball scattered its light all over the rest of the stall 🥹 To quote a message from a fellow macrame artist… it was a spring dream 🌸🪩

One of my most frequently asked questions when showing someone my work is “How long did that take?” So let’s break it down. For a piece this size (almost 5,000 knots) it took:
- 3 hours to design the pattern
- 1 hour to calculate and order the amount of cord needed
- 3-5 days for the cord to be delivered
- 2 hours to measure, cut and hang cord
- 65 hours of knotting
- Half an hour of trimming and finishing touches

That’s about two to three weeks of your typical 9-5 job… and don’t forget, this is not my 9-5 job. I do this in the evenings, on weekends, sometimes on my lunch break. Three weeks could very easily turn into three months, but know this - I love every second of it.

I’m back in Leigh this weekend!

It’s going to be a full Fox family event with my Dad also being there with his model railway, and my Mum as always with me on the F&D stall.

There’s something for everyone so come and say hello 🥰

When I commit to something, I don’t like to see it unfinished. It might take me longer than expected to get round to it but it gets done eventually.

The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed I still have three posts left of the March Meet the Maker Challenge, and how ironic that the next prompt is “Revisit”! Is it too much of a cop out to just say I’m revisiting the challenge…?

I promise you, this was not planned, but to sweeten the deal I’ve used an old photo of one of my earliest pieces - so I’m revisiting that too!

Prompt 11: Revisit
