We’re immensely grateful to all the wonderful dealers who’ve been integral to Stone Deaf’s growth. However, we’ve recognized some challenges in the current dealer model. The required margins, limited marketing, and imbalance in brand support have led us to reevaluate. This shift isn’t about pointing fingers but I wont bu****it our customers with some fluff regarding the state of the industry model at the moment and my hope is those pedal companies in fear and who are in the same situation, which there are many will have the courage to take the leap.

By going direct, we’re streamlining operations, reducing costs, and ultimately, benefiting our valued customers. Its all about the details! If you really want lean manufactured highest quality design as a pedal designer, you have to think outside the box!

Here is some out of the box thinking…

Machine standoff into enclosure that acts as PCB stabiliser improving reliability and making it mechanically robust while doubling it up as a PCB grounding point to the chassis!

You can see here how the chassis is machined from Solid aluminium, not using low price / quality Hammond type enclosures. I have nothing against those but you a) cant anodise them b) adequately laser engrave c) sandblast them d) they are made from recycled low quality aluminium.

Standardisation of size does not have to mean standardisation of enclosure. Design an enclosure that fits your customers needs like quality, reliability, function at a reasonable. Its possible! Be inspired and be willing to put the work in to design what you may think is impossible! Its important!

So the quality and precision is second to none when comparing our Chassis dimensions and pcb dimensions to existing models and other manufacturers on the Rise & Shine Pedal. This means a “perfect fit” and high quality craftmanship for our customers.

Yes the new pedals will be more expensive but they are significantly better in both build quality and craftmanship / ex*****on of functionality.
