In 2015, a Texas college student named Tara Monroe lost access to her car after a DWI-related incident.
Her dad told her to use a bike.
So she did what absolutely nobody expected.
She bought a tiny pink Barbie Jeep online for around $60 and started driving it around campus instead.
The little toy car only went about 5 mph, but that didn’t stop it from becoming famous.
Students spotted her cruising around Texas State University in the bright pink mini Jeep, and photos of it quickly went viral.
It looked ridiculous.
It was slow.
It was embarrassing.
But honestly, it was also kind of iconic.
