A huge thank you to everyone who came to the Knitterish stand at Newark this weekend. It was lovely to meet you all, both old friends and new ❤️. The ladies who attended my Mosaic Knitting workshop were incredibly motivated and produced some great work - there will be photos of this in my October newsletter so if you’ve not subscribed then head over to www.knitterishdesigns.com and sign up.
It was a bit of a whole family effort this time since Newark is reasonably close to home and I was joined by the Elder Knitterish Daughter and, of course, the scrumptious Knitterish Granddaughter on Saturday then the Younger Knitterish Daughter plus the Knitterish Husband on Sunday. Definitely a great team effort ❤️🧶❤️

Absolutely NOT knitting related but …… after the hectic few days at the NE Yarn Show, I headed into Northumberland with the Knitterish Husband and Younger Daughter for a few days R&R. Today we visited South Shields where I lived as a child and headed to Minchella’s on the sea front. Honestly? Best ice cream ever 🤩

As I’m sure everyone here knows, I love a bit of Knitterish in the Wild but this time I actually missed it as I was running my mosaic workshop. Happily the younger Knitterish Daughter took some photographs for me to see and share. Coincidentally, it was the MosaiKAL shawl and I think you’ll agree it was an amazing example 🤩.

A belated thank you to everyone who visited my stand at The Wool Monty, whether to chat, ‘show and tell’ or to buy. Kate and I had a great weekend meeting you all 🧶❤️🧶
Unlike other shows I resisted yarn purchases but, instead, a couple of craft bags from Stephen and Penelope might have just found their way home with me 😉

A huge thank you to each and every one of you who stopped by my stand to do ‘show and tell’, chat and even buy. It was great to see you all and a lovely introduction to Wonderwool Wales Ltd who, I think you’ll all agree, produced a brilliant show. I even managed to fit in a little purchasing myself and perhaps I’ll have these incorporated into a new pattern for 2027 or 2028 (eek).
