The market I work in is absolutely saturated with the same things EVERYWHERE. There is very few ways to stay in your own lane in this business. Competition is absolutely healthy and within any industry there’s always competition!
✨ I have ONE product that has kept me different from anyone who locally has a personalising business, that one product has been in my top 3 sellers since the very start and I’ve just been lucky no one else makes this said product.
Anyone is absolutely within their own rights to set up business doing anything and start trading but what isn’t nice is buying said items from a small business, also happily receiving money off and freebies and then 2-3 weeks later selling VERY similar items. I might come across as bitchy but this business is and has been my baby for 4 years, it’s my full time job… it pays my bills, I have to protect it and I will have a little whinge if I feel necessary 🥲 I’m not coming for anyone and wasn’t going to do this but when you’ve bought things from me you’ve specifically asked me to make for you, then start selling them WEEKS later, it’s hard not to take it personally🤦🏼♀️
