making purchases from makers and creatives isn’t just about spending money…
although that sure does help us 🩷
it’s the support of what we’re doing.

there aren’t as many weirdos out there making art and showing up at markets and craft fairs.

it’s not easy.
it’s freaking hard.
it’s long hours.
it’s the cost of supplies.

we can’t compete with big box stores.
we can’t compete with mass produced trash.

what we can do, is our best.
we can keep going.
we can keep showing up.
we can hope for the best.

I’m so grateful that I have the support of so many.
I’m grateful you show up for me.
I’m grateful for the kindness.
I’m grateful for the purchases.
I’m grateful for your patience.

if you get a chance, support a local weirdo out there making art. I promise you that even the tiniest purchase makes a huge difference. xox

Tomorrow!!!

18/09/2026

Looking forward to Ebbw Vale tomorrow! Making some last minute loafs of all your favourites - Sparkle Fairy, Lavender Lust and Nebula ✨ I'm experimenting with a new look for Nebula! When I switched to a Shea base (for an extra moisturising experience) I found that the colours didn't pop anymore, it turned into a solid grey bar with some sparkles. I didn't mind this, but a grey soap is often a hard sell 😅 it has the same irresistible cocoa butter scent, but added moisturising traits, and now I think I may have nailed the colour swirl of black, blue and purple that I've been aiming for! All will be revealed when I cut it later, so fingers crossed for me! 🤞

Incredibly well deserved 🖤 to everyone who supports Coven, The Witches Shop & Tea Room and all of the businesses within, you have made this happen! Thank you all so much! What a lovely community I've found myself in, wouldn't change it for the world 🖤
