Twinkle Textiles Using a variety of fabrics, I combine machine applique with hand stitching to make cards and gifts These are cards you will want to keep forever.

Working from my wooden cabin at the bottom of the garden, I design and create beautiful textile cards and gifts. Each card is lovingly handmade from different fabrics, no prints and finished with buttons, beads or sequins. They are a standard size so will fit most high street frames, making them a lasting memory of the occasion they were gifted for. Framed pictures, tote bags, keyrings, bookmarks

and more recently fabric flowers are all part of the 'Twinkle gift' range. I have so many ideas of what I would like to make, I could do with an extra day in the week. Please follow my page to keep up to date with designs and events I will be attending. You can all find me on Instagram

In other news ...

We have about 12 months of landmark celebrations in our house. Earlier this year Steve and I celebrated our Silver wedding anniversary, thank you for all the love you gave this post.

Both Steve and I have big birthdays, our eldest leaves his teenage years and our youngest officially becomes an adult.

This month we celebrated Steve's birthday with a balloon flight. It was an amazing experience, so serene floating up high across the Cheshire countryside.

The weather conditions were perfect, so clear we could see for miles. As you can see from the photos everywhere is so dry and burnt, not the normal aerial shot of Cheshire more like the corn fields from down south.

Let's hope we get some rain, but preferably not during market hours.

There were lots of discussions at the stall last week about the notebooks with one lady asking if I will be doing Christmas designs on the notebooks - yes I will.

16 notebooks went off to new homes. Some for you to use yourselves, a few for your children and grandchildren and others for birthday gifts. 🙌
