I can't even begin to tell you how proud I am of this man! The last 12+ months have been an absolute emotional, physical and financial mess. After his Crohn's diagnosis, things were really really difficult for us 💔 Having big plans to work alongside each other and build Elle Fait even more had to be stopped in its tracks no sooner than it started.
Life became something completely different to what we had imagined 🥺 No family close by, no friends, no support to lean on- I fell apart behind closed doors while this poor bloke struggled week after week to feel better with no let up to the s**tshow that was unfolding. We had no choice but to keep going, no rest, no break, just putting one foot in front of the other trying to hold down a house, kids, bills and chronically ill Husband. All with a painted on smile that not one person saw through.
Fast forward to today, things are totally different. His Crohns is stable, he feels well and actually like there is light at the end of the tunnel!! He has not only passed his HGV Theory tests and CPC, he's also been offered an absolutely AMAZING job 👏 with an amazing company! Your determination, spirit and drive are something that need to be studied!! You are genuinely my absolute Hero Mr K 💙 and I am extremely lucky to call myself your wife ✨️
Here's to the new chapter of 2026, somehow no matter how many times we lose the plot, we always manage to turn the story around 😘💜 I think its called 'falling in a pile of s**t and come out smelling of roses' 👌
