Any local floor layers looking for some extra carpet / LVT work?

Had a play with these two products last year and been waiting for the full release but if you’ve not tried these yet then I’d recommend you do.

Also a manafacturer that recommends grit primer on plywood finally. .

There may also be others now that I don’t know of but been doing this for last 10 years because it just makes sense opposed to acrylic for obvious reasons.

Time for lunch, then 2 sqm left to cut and glue. Then onto cut and fit the skirtings. Get them hashed in 😉 then straight on the road and the customers brake light guarantee kicks in 😬. . .

Job update smoothing compound/ latex whatever you call it has turned out bloody lovely it’s game on now get this Textures UK herringbone flooring down.

So many installers doing “build ups” of 10-20mm in multiple coats especially over electric UFH systems. Hurts my wallet each time I see it and it’s not even my job.

For instance - Why not charge for 10-15mm coat as required depending on which system it is. . . Stay with me this is the best bit. 😉

Charge for the 15mm coat but do it in one 😍

Firstly and most importantly, the cable is much better encapsulated in one thick coat than two Individual coats.

Secondly you do half the labour for the same cost . . . 🤔

Anyway that’s just my thought process and reasons why I do any deep fills in one hit. 🥷👊🏼
