Pinch, punch, first of the month …

It was so lovely to decorate a local village church today with some truly beautiful florals and deliver this beautiful bouquet to today’s bride.

For this bouquet the brief I was given was to create a small, compact, posy style bouquet in pink & white with a little blue accent in keeping with rest of the flowers. I chose the most gorgeous scented garden roses, scented stocks, spray roses, Tweedia, and a few other supporting blooms. Scent is often overlooked nowadays but I feel it really elevates a bridal bouquet.

Nettie’s gorgeous bouquet from last Saturday. I love the pastel tones in this one and the request for cornflower blue to be added to the ribbons.

This bouquet was full of scent, movement and meaning and it sounds like the birds around the studio appreciated its beauty! 💐🥂✨

Congratulations to Georgia & Charlie who tied the knot on Friday at Sandon Hall Wedding Venue 🥂✨

Pastels were the order of the day and we created some glorious florals to dress the church and hall, including two statement oversized urns which I’m in love with. Surprisingly all of the flowers held up well in the blazing heat and everything came together perfectly. The preview images speak for themselves!

Too good a song not to use and so accurate! Floristry is 95% lifting heavy buckets, moving arches, lugging installations around and climbing ladders. Anyone who’s worked with me can confirm I’m constantly moaning about my back 😂
