This gorgeous boy passed way last year and his owner posted me a bag of his fur to turn into a keepsake teddy bear.

His gorgeously soft fluff was carded, spun, plied, washed, dried and finally crocheted in to this adorable little bear. 🐾😊

Some people don’t like the idea, but dog hair makes for the softest, warmest gloves I’ve ever worn! And for the question I’m always asked…no, they don’t smell of dog - the hair has been thoroughly washed! 😂

This beautiful and much loved husky passed way just five days before his fifteenth birthday. I’m spinning his hair into yarn, which I’ll then crochet into a teddy bear keepsake.

Our pets are with us for their whole lifetime, but for us it passes so quickly - it’s lovely to be able to make something from this pup’s fluff that his family can treasure forever.
