Unfortunately, after just under two and a half years we have had to take the decision to close the shop.
Edison’s electrical will continue to sell nationally online and local delivery is available across the Island.
As many of you will know we had several leaks at the end of last year, the impact of this (being lost stock and several forced closures) means we can no longer justify keeping the shop open. Our online sales have exceeded the shop every month since we opened. The cost of running the shop and the time needed to staff it are not sustainable we will instead use the time to increase our online presence and work with more local businesses.
We will be holding a closing down sale starting on Monday the 15th of January and finishing on Saturday the 20th.

We are finally fully open, the shop still looks a bit like it has been burgled and smells rather musty but we missed you all.
That and losing over £1000.00 in stock and ten of the last fifteen days trading has decimated our cashflow.
So to get the tills ringing again and help us recover we are having a sale.
Not looking for sympathy just offering quality items that were already cheaper than the competition at even lower prices.

CLOSED for a few days.
We’ve had a third leak, yes a third and while we’ve managed to plough on through leaks one and two leak three is one too many.
We will be in the shop cleaning etc and where possible we will help, but we will not be able to keep regular hours for a few days.
Sorry I can’t be more precise but the truth is I don’t know if leak four is around the corner, how long it will take to clean up after this one and frankly how much stock I’ll have left 🤦🏻‍♂️
