🐾 IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM RY’S DOG DAY CARE / POPPY'S PLAYGROUND 🐾

Hey everyone - It's not good news I am afraid...

As of Friday 25th September 2026, Ry’s Dog Day Care will be open:

🐶 Monday – Thursday - as usual
❌ Friday – CLOSED
❌ Saturday – CLOSED
❌ Sunday – CLOSED

Unfortunately, our current Friday numbers are not high enough to make opening financially viable anymore.

We have previously spoken with our day care community about the importance of using the service consistently, as without sufficient numbers, we would eventually have to reduce the days we operate.
Rather than risk putting the future of the entire day care service under unnecessary financial pressure, we have made the decision to remove Fridays and concentrate our customers across Monday–Thursday.

This isn't a decision we've made lightly.
We love what we've built at Ry's and want to ensure we can continue providing the high standard of care our customers and their dogs have come to expect. ❤️

This change allows us to operate more sustainably whilst continuing to provide day care Monday–Thursday.

For those that are currently booked in on the 25th, please await our messages through Collar.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support. 🐾
If you have any questions about your existing bookings, please speak to a member of the Ry’s team.

Doggy Freshers’ Prom is now live to book on the Collar App!

To finish off Ry’s Freshers’ Week, we’re throwing the biggest celebration of the year, our Doggy Freshers’ Prom!

Freshers week starts on the 31st of August 2026 with the Doggy Freshers Prom on Friday 4th of September!

Expect a day full of fun with games, enrichment, treats, prom photos, decorations and, of course, every dog will head home with their very own graduation certificate.

Dress up is highly encouraged! We love to see your pups looking glamorous in their prom outfits!

If your dog hasn’t been to daycare for a little while, now’s the perfect time to book a re-induction so they don’t miss out on the celebrations.

Know someone who’s never been to Ry’s? Tell your friends and family to book their dog in for an induction so they can join the fun too. We’d love to welcome some new faces to our biggest event of the year.

Spaces will fill up quickly, so head over to the Collar App and book your dog’s place. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of our daycare stars! 🎓🐾

Thanks, Ry's Team
