A bit of a Rock and Roller sort of week.
Whats better than one MP5k?
Well, 10 maybe, unless you know better.
Straight from the factory, the 9mm barrels were removed, bit of a faf but there you go.
New .30cal barrels machined in house, chambered in 7.65 Para, threaded and phosphated.
All back together and ready for test firing.
An enjoyable job but I am glad its over, for now

A UK compliant Section 1 semi auto SLR, who'd have thought it?
First test fire of a .22WMR L1A1.
It has taken a bit of head scratching and a fair bit of machining.
This is the first protoytype bolt and carrier and it works well.
This is not a barrel liner like the BSA or H&K .22LR kits, this has a dedicated barrel, bolt carrier and bolt.
I believe this is the first .22WMR L1A1, unless anyone knows different?
Time to put a few rounds down range I think.

The first orders are complete and have been shipped.
Designed in house as a dedicated AR/M4 platform training system using UTM non leathal mu*****ns.
If you are a UK based training provider this platform enables hands-on training using UTM 5.56.
Designed and manufactured to not be able to discharge projectiles, meaning this is not a fi***rm and as such can be used by anyone.
Full AR select fire platform controls, all stoppage and usage drills can be utilised in training.
No swapping of bolts required.
Incompatible with standard licencable AR components, cannot be converted to live fire, cannot be converted to fire any projectile or blank am******on.
There is no other dedicated training system available like this.
If you are a training provider needing a dedicated training platform and you require a non lethal, non discharging system then contact us.
This is a game changer, no restrictions on who you can train or where.
Train for the challenge, achieve the impossible.

Finally dried off from todays trip to the range.
All kit cleaned and ready to send to proof.
The SLR.
Cited as being the most powerfull service weapon ever, some countries have capitulated just watching drills.
The chance to own a UK S1, fully sorted, straight pull version doesnt come up that often.
Once bitten never forgotten, a true piece of history.

Finally made it to the range today, however the weather had plans to create a bit of havoc.
Took 3 of the S1 straightpull SLRs out for a test, all r***es are function tested.
People ask, "so how does it extract"? They may have seen other SLRs (not ours) at the range with the shooter pounding the butt on the ground to extract fired cases.
The video shows cases being extracted from 3 r***es all made by GTAC using both the standard LH charging handle and also using the GTAC designed RH charging handle. The am******on being fired is GGG 7.62 nato, it was rather wet today so the am******on was wet like everytging else.
The two plastic stocked r***es have Pendragon stainless steel, 4 groove 12 twist barrels profiled to our own design, chambered in .308Win.
The Timber stocked r***e has a Douglas stainless steel, 4 groove 1in10 twist barrel chambered in .308Win, no last round hold open on this one.

The GTAC RH charging handle makes off-hand shooting a more practical proposition. This could also be fitted to the left side for anyone who bats with the other hand, long gone are the days of forced righthand shooting only😬.

Short and sweet test fire videos, mainly due to it being wet and windy, but you get to see the way these r***es should behave when used as a straightpull.
There are 4 in our first batch, 2 have gone, don't wait too long.
