I've noticed a few new faces around here recently, so I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself! πΈ
I'm Emily, the face behind the flowers. I've been doing floristry for around 18 months now and started with a year of learning at my local college. Since then, I've been developing my skills with hands-on experience and short courses with talented florists whenever I get the opportunity.
I'm still discovering my own floristry style but I'm always drawn to English garden-inspired arrangements, wildflowers, and bright pops of colour. But I also love some of the more modern and trendy styles I see online and would love more chances to experiment with these!
One of my favourite things about floristry is that there's always something new to learn. I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who supports my growth and my little business. If any of my more experienced florist followers have advice, opportunities, or words of wisdom to share, I'd love to hear from you. My dream is to one day make floristry my full-time career, and every bit of support helps me get a little closer. π·π€
I'd love to get to know you too - tell me in the comments: what's your favourite flower? π
