Happy Black Cat Apprentiatiom day furr-ends!

Mum says all the big purry kneading I do before bedtime is one of her favourite things about me 😍

Yes my fur is still shorter than normal. I had another trim a few weeks ago ans it's really helped me during this hot weather 🌡

Jacky update:

Mr Meepside has been doing good this last month. He's only been sick a few times but some plain white fish always makes him feel better 🐟

Mum weighs him every week while me and Baby George watch. Because obviously a task that important needs to be supurrvised 😂 and if Jacky gets treats for being a good boy the I want some too!

Jacky hasn't put on any weight in the last month but he hasn't lost any either so we're happy with that for now. Especially as he also seems so much calmer and happier now he is less poorly ❤️❤️❤️

Happy Wednesday furr-ends! Hope you're all doing well. Mum and Dad have been working so much recently that I'm tired just hearing about it 😴

Mum has considered getting some mini traffic cones to put around me when I conk out like this! 😂

Someone's been a very naughty boy! And for once it's not me! 😂

Dad accidentally left a fish finger sandwich unattended around Jacky and he helped himself to the lot! 😱

Jacky says in his defence, mum has told him he needs to eat plenty and put weight back on. And he didn't throw them back up again later- so what's the problem 🤷

Can you believe him? 😂

Jacky's dental work has been very successful. He's actually chewing his food now instead of eating like a seagull 😮 Mum...

Mum has also noticed he's been much more chilled out ❤️

He's got another vet check on Tuesday then hopefully we can work on getting his weight back to what it was.

Poor Jacky has been at the vets so much recently. His weight has dropped to just over 3kg. After a full blood test last week, then a tooth cleaning and ultrasound yesterday the vet thinks the most likely issue is Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

We're all making sure he's well looked after. The good news is Jacky is already looking happier today now his teeth are clean and hes got some new prebiotic tablets to try ❤️

We're calling this look "unimpressed but not distressed" I'm feeling much cooler after a trim 😎

Hope all my furr-ends are managing to stay cool in this hot weather. This year mum has started giving me summer haircuts to help keep me comfortable and, in her words, stop "lying around looking like a grumpy floor rug"

I'm already used to the clippers as I now get a montly trousers trim to avoid any poo-related disasters. Mum also says "can't 💩 your trousers if you're not wearing any" 😂

I've been helping dad paint warhammer things this weekend. However, we disagree about what "helping" means and I keep getting removed from the table 😂

And yes, I've had a summer haircut to help keep me cool. Mum keeps calling me Shaun the sheep 🙄
