My daughter is often non stop when it comes to requesting her next crochet creations made by mummy, but this elephant has been on her list for quite some time now. After reminding me near enough everyday that I said I would make her one, I have finally got around to finishing it today.
Colours chosen by her, little cutie is giving me heffalump vibes from Winnie the Pooh!

Pattern followed is by one of my favourites Jess Huff - 'Esther Elephant'. I'm sure it will have a new name soon enough though! 🤭😄

Hi everyone! 👋

Sorry for the huge silence and disappearance, it's a long story but cut short I had received a fair amount of messages that basically deflated me to the point where I didn't feel my work was valued.
The messages and comments were actually pretty rude and uncalled for. Here's a few pointers of what I've learned from this... going forward;
- Yes my work can seem expensive if you are ordering something bespoke.
-No, I will not discount.
-Why? Because its handmade with love in every stitch, it takes friggin ages, supplies sadly don't come for free and because I am worth it and what I've made is worth it.

I love crochet, I do it for love, I do it to keep me sane if the truths known... 🤣 I am now done letting anyone under valuing me or the creations I make. I see my page as a space I can share my creations, if you like them enough to enquire about absolutely anything, I welcome any messages ❤️

Missed you all and really missed showing off what I've made, can't wait to start sharing some of my pieces currently under my belt! ❤️

I feel so flattered that she loves what I make for her, as these days she likes to make it very clearly what her opinion may be... 🙄🤦‍♀️

I've been crocheting now for almost 2 years, normally when I take up a new hobby - which is quite often, I tend to get bored or frustrated very quickly and soon stop doing it. This one has stuck with me, self taught by using online tutorial videos then learning how to read patterns. I would even say my skill level is now intermediate rather than beginner, which I am so very proud of myself for! There is just so much to learn and discover. Starting a new project is always so exciting that I struggle to finish others first 🙈🤣

Kaitlyns latest handmade with love by mumma bear, I may be a little biased but she is absolutely rocking it!! 😍

This is my take on Magnolia Tiered Dress, absolutely beautiful pattern, illustrated perfectly and so fun and satisfying to make.

It makes it even more worth it when she just can't wait to put it on... then doesn't want to take it off 🥹❤️
