I did this commission back in January and COMPLETELY FORGOT TO POST ABOUT IT.

Ahem, anyway.

This is a character called Juan Carlos Bodoque! He's from a Chilean show called 31 Minutos which I'd never heard of but I loved the vibrant design immediately. He's so tall!

The customer's mom had a kidney transplant and they wanted something to commemorate it with. It's the size of a kidney, too! Both customer and mom are doing well and I got a lovely thank you email 🥹

I finished solo finals in 1:28:40, with only 80 seconds to spare before the 1h30 limit! It was such a tough puzzle that I celebrated the finish like if come in first place 🤣

I finished 57th overall (82nd if you include non-UK participants) which I'm really happy with, as I haven't been well for the last few weeks and the competition was intense.

I'll do a bigger recap of the weekend at some point (I'm tempted to mimic .michelle and attempt a rap recap) but for now, I need some sleep 😴

Thank you to everyone for making this such a fun time, especially for organising, for sponsoring and for being my wonderful pairs/teams partner and cheerleader during solos.

Speed puzzling with the gorgeous ! Pairs puzzling is so much more fun and we were delighted to hear "THEY'RE DOING A SWAP" on the commentary when we changed seats!

This puzzle was HARD - there was so much white space and the birds were so tiny! Even in the final minutes we were picking up beak pieces and swearing there was nowhere to put them 🤣

We finished in 1:24:19, placing 27th overall out of 101 UK pairs!

Round 1 solo qualifiers! Very happy with my time of 1:08:22 especially for such a difficult puzzle!
