Being told to 'just take a paracetamol' for debilitating womb pain is a form of medical gaslighting.
To anyone currently curled into a ball dealing with severe menstrual pain, endo, heavy bleeding, or pelvic flares: we see you. The sheer exhaustion of having your symptoms and pain dismissed by doctors is deeply traumatizing.
As much as we want to, we can't fix the medical system in one day. What we can do is help you make a safe space where you can find some relief.
When your womb is screaming, your body needs deep, external, anti-inflammatory comfort. This is what we reach for:

I let Tia put slimy goop on my face. Anyone who knows me knows this texture is my nightmare - sitting still while the mask set and did its thing was brutal. It's worth it for moisturised, smoother skin, and being forced to relax.
Sapphic Self isn't there yet, but when we do make facemasks I will be pushing for glitter and less goop.
