I knitted a little swatch in The Fibre Co.’s Cirro this afternoon. It’s a beautiful sport weight yarn; a blend of Suri alpaca and Merino wool wrapped around an organic cotton thread. Incredibly soft and fluffy, and it doesn’t shed!

I think this yarn would be perfect for a bandana, a late summer top, a little scarf or a light weight jumper. We have 5 stunning colours in store!

Lykke has a wide range of interchangeable tips, we love them all! If you’re struggling to choose the tip for you, maybe this will help…

The Grove (green) range is made from bamboo and is the most grippy of their needles, perfect for beginners.

Their Cypra range is made from copper and is slicker than their wooden and bamboo ranges, but we still find this has more grip than stainless steel needles. They also naturally patina over time, which can be wonderful to watch your most used needles transform. If you prefer to keep them shiny, you can simply use the Lykke polishing cloth.

The rest of their needles are all made from laminated birchwood that has been stained different colours, so it’s just a case of choosing your favourite.

They are all available in 5” and 3.5” length tips.
