For the last 8 years, Twinkles SEN Activity Days CIC has been supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and their families, creating opportunities to make friends, build confidence, try new experiences and feel part of an understanding community.

We are proud of what we have achieved, but this year we need a little extra help.

Like many small community organisations, we are facing rising costs and increasing demand for support. Every event we run, every activity we provide and every family we help is only possible because of fundraising, donations and the generosity of local businesses and supporters.

We receive no permanent government funding and are run entirely by volunteers who give their time to make a difference to local SEN children and families.

We are looking for:
• Business sponsors
• Corporate donations
• Raffle and tombola prizes
• Gift vouchers
• Fundraising support
• Donations of goods and services

If you are a business looking to support a local cause, sponsor an event, fulfil your community engagement goals or make a genuine difference to children’s lives, we would love to hear from you.

A small contribution can have a lasting impact on a child who may otherwise miss out on opportunities to socialise, build resilience, improve confidence and create happy memories.

Twinkles SEN Activity Days CIC needs your support.

Over the summer, we have provided many free activities and events for children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), all funded through the hard work and dedication of our volunteer fundraising team.

Twinkles receives no permanent government funding and is run entirely by volunteers – parents who understand the challenges faced by SEN families and are passionate about creating opportunities for children to thrive.

Our aim is simple: to help children get out, be active, make friends, try new experiences, and enjoy time with families who understand and support one another in a safe, welcoming environment.

As we look ahead to our autumn, winter, and spring and summer activities for 2027, we urgently need help to continue providing these valuable opportunities. Rising costs mean fundraising is becoming increasingly difficult, and every donation makes a real difference.

Could you help by donating?

We are looking for:
• Raffle prizes and tombola prizes
• Soft toys, puzzles, games and books
• Dolls and children’s toys
• Good quality children’s and adult clothing and shoes
• Gift vouchers for local services and businesses
• Hairdressing and beauty vouchers
• Dog grooming or dog walking vouchers
• Any items that could help us raise funds for our families

Are you a local business?

We would love to hear from businesses interested in sponsoring an activity, event or project. Your support could directly help SEN children access experiences they might otherwise miss out on. In return, we would be delighted to give your business a shout-out on our page and recognise your kindness within our community.
