Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs! 🤍✨

A huge congratulations to Sarah & Paul, who celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Maids Head Hotel on Saturday. It was such a pleasure to create your wedding cake and be a small part of your special day. We wish you a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness together.

Their beautiful three-tier wedding cake featured:

🍫 5” Chocolate Sponge with cookies & cream buttercream
🥕 7” Carrot Cake with walnuts and sultanas, filled with cream cheese buttercream
🍋 9” Lemon & Raspberry Sponge with zesty lemon buttercream

We also created a separate vegan cake, ensuring everyone could join in with the celebrations and enjoy a slice of cake. At WHISK.weddings, we’re passionate about creating beautiful cakes that don’t leave anyone out. Whether you need vegan, dairy-free, egg-free or other allergy-friendly options, we’ll work with you to create something every bit as delicious as it is beautiful.

This stunning 3 tier design was created for the sweetest couple, a big congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Moss 🥂

🍋 10” Lemon & Raspberry sponge filled with silky lemon buttercream

🍫 8” Chocolate sponge layered with rich Chocolate Oreo buttercream

🤍 6” Vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and seedless raspberry jam

Alongside the main cake we also created 6 dairy free cupcakes for the couple’s daughter so everyone could enjoy a little slice of the celebration ✨

One of our absolute favourite parts of wedding season is hearing what couples and their guests thought afterwards - and this review honestly means the world -

“Had our day on Friday 15th. If anyone is still looking for a wedding cake, I cannot recommend WHISK.weddings enough!

One of my bridesmaids found their shop whilst looking for hen do decorations (as they do balloons as well) and suggested we go in and have a chat about cake. We ended up booking an appointment, trying some very scrummy cake and booked WHISK for our 3 tier cake along with 6 dairy free cupcakes for our daughter.

When we picked the cake up, we were in awe of how amazing it looked! We couldn’t have asked for a better looking cake! They packaged it up for us and put it on a non-slip mat ready for us to transport. Communication had been excellent from the point of booking all the way through to collection.

Coming to the flavours, we chose Lemon & Raspberry, Chocolate with Oreo buttercream, Victoria Sponge. The amount of comments on how amazing the cake tasted, everyone kept going back for more!

We still have half of each tier left ready to have on our first anniversary and hopefully it will taste just the same as it did on Friday. Thank you so so much to the WHISK team, you made our dream cake into a reality!” 💖

From the front, this one looks like a classic 3 tier white fondant design, finished with soft autumnal florals. Turn it around though, and there’s a hidden story - 3 tiers of Harry Potter magic, featuring Dobby tucked away at the back.

Flowers come in many forms when it comes to cake.

We often create designs with real, silk or sugar roses - but buttercream flowers are another beautiful option. Less common, but full of texture and charm, and we wrapped them around all three tiers of this cake.
