Early Bronze Age inspired Rope Belt in Pine Green. This long rope belt is constructed with 13 stands, a sacred number rooted in Pagan tradition symbolising the 13 lunar cycles of the year.

They will be making their market debut at the Viking Re-enactment Day at Thistle Park in Chesterfield on 30th August.

I have a range of colours, braid patterns, lengths and charm options available. Taking pre-orders now for September!

There's a 4,000-year-old skeleton known as the Upton Lovell Shaman, discovered in a special type of burial site that indicated they were a high-status individual.

Based on the burial details and the size of the bones, archaeologists just assumed the individual (and metalworker) was a man. But after more modern research, that conclusion changed, and now they believe the figure was actually female. If archaeologists got this one so wrong, it raises the question: how many other assumptions about gender, status, and power in ancient society deserve a second look?

Handfastings will hopefully be legally recognised at the end of this year! 🥳💍🥂✨

I really hope so because it would remove the stress and expense of having to have a secondary ceremony in a licensed venue. I can’t wait to find out what they do with this long overdue shake up, and hopefully be able to legally join the hands of many wonderful people in sacred ceremony in the near future!

Currently, a marriage or civil partnership ceremony must take place at an approved venue to be legally binding.
